Ingredients:
1 can Crushed Pineapple, drained
2 packages (4 serving size each) or 1 package (8 oz size) Jello Raspberry Flavor Gelatin
1 can Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
1 medium Apple (chopped)
2/3 cup Walnuts (chopped)
Directions:
- Drain pineapple, reserving liquid in 1-qt measuring cup.
- Remove 1 tbsp of the crushed pineapple, set aside for garnish.
- Add enough water to reserved liquid to measure 3 cups. Pour into large saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
- Add gelatin and stir at least 2 minutes or until gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Add cranberry sauce & stir (gelatin mixture should be thick).
- Pour mixture in a medium-sized bowl. (bowl can be used for serving)
- Refrigerate 1-1/2 hrs or until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites).
- Stir in gently pineapple, chopped apples & walnuts. Refrigerate 4 hrs or until firm.
- Top with reserved crushed pineapple just before serving.
