Ingredients:
Raw Peanuts
Oil
Garlic (minced)
Salt
Directions:
- In a large saucepan on medium heat cook peanuts in oil until 1/2 way cooked
- Add garlic to pan stirring constantly. (make sure garlic doesn't burn and toast until garlic is golden color)
- Line a large baking sheet with paper towel and pour nuts and garlic on pan to absorb excess oil
- Season peanuts with salt
makes 3-4 pints
Ingredients:
~10 lbs of apples (Cored and roughly sliced)
2-3 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
1 tsp ground cloves
1 cup water
Sugar to taste (optional)
Directions:
- Dump apples all in the crock pot, top with the spices and water, cover, and cook on high for an hour or two.
- Turn the crock pot down to low, and cook for 8 hours
- Remove the cinnamon sticks.
- Add a little sugar to taste.
- Prop lid open and cook for another 8 hours
