Yolly's Garlic Roasted Peanuts

Ingredients:

Raw Peanuts
Oil
Garlic (minced)
Salt

Directions:
  1. In a large saucepan on medium heat cook peanuts in oil until 1/2 way cooked
  2. Add garlic to pan stirring constantly. (make sure garlic doesn't burn and toast until garlic is golden color)
  3. Line a large baking sheet with paper towel and pour nuts and garlic on pan to absorb excess oil
  4. Season peanuts with salt

Apple Butter (Lauren Zietsman)

makes 3-4 pints

Ingredients:
 
~10 lbs of apples (Cored and roughly sliced)
2-3 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
1 tsp ground cloves
1 cup water
Sugar to taste (optional)

Directions:
  1. Dump apples all in the crock pot, top with the spices and water, cover, and cook on high for an hour or two.
  2. Turn the crock pot down to low, and cook for 8 hours
  3. Remove the cinnamon sticks.
  4. Add a little sugar to taste.
  5. Prop lid open and cook for another 8 hours
