Ingredients:
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Fresh Basil leaves plus 8 sprigs for garnish
8 cups Lemonade
1 1/2 cups Water
Directions:
- Over med heat, bring sugar and 1 1/2 cups cold water to simmer in sauce pan
- Cook without stirring for 5 mins (until sugar dissolves)
- Remove from heat, add basil and let cool
- Strain the syrup into resealable container (discard solids)
- Pour 2-3 tsp of basil syrup into lemonade
- Garnish with extra sprigs
