2 cloves Garlic (sliced or lightly bruised)
1/3 cup Honey
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Chinese Cooking Wine, or dry sherry wine
1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4-1/2 cup of Water
3 tbsp Oil
Directions:
- Mix 2 garlic cloves, honey, salt, cooking wine, apple cider vinegar, and water well and set aside
- Fry 2 garlic cloves in 3 table spoons of oil until brown and oil is fragrant. Discard the brown garlic
- Gently pour in the Honey Garlic Sauce mixture, and bring to a light simmer, add in the cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce, give it a quick stir and adjust salt/sugar/water to taste.
